A 3rd-year BSIT student and aspiring full-stack developer who builds practical web applications, database-driven systems, and developer-focused tools.
A concise snapshot of what I build and the direction I am pursuing.
Raphael Vigafria is a 3rd-year Bachelor of Science in Information Technology student focused on software development, databases, and modern web technologies. I enjoy turning requirements into usable interfaces and working applications, from database-backed systems to full-stack platforms with authentication, dashboards, and AI features.
I'm Raphael, a 20-year-old BSIT student currently in my 3rd year of college. I enjoy learning new technologies, working on school projects, and improving my skills in web development. My goal is to become a professional developer and build useful apps that help people.
Currently pursuing a BSIT degree while building practical software projects.
The subjects and skills I'm building through my BSIT program.

Learning core concepts of programming through Java and Python.
Understanding how to design and develop IT systems that solve problems.
Things I've built while studying and exploring web development.
A full-stack academic platform designed to centralize student productivity, coursework, and study tools. Built with student/admin dashboards, task and calendar workflows, a focus timer, gamified quizzes, course checkout flows, and an AI study assistant powered by Google Gemini.
A Java desktop application for managing student records โ enrollment, grades, and course assignments. Uses JDBC for database connectivity with MySQL, and applies CRUD operations with prepared statements to prevent SQL injection. Features a simple Swing interface for admin and student views.
A Python command-line tool that reads class grade sheets (CSV), computes averages and standard deviations, flags at-risk students, and generates a summary report. Uses pandas for data processing and matplotlib for basic visualizations.
A modern, clean, and fully responsive news website built from scratch. It features a dynamic dark mode toggle, live search filtering, a reading progress bar, and interactive pop-up modals for reading articles seamlessly.
Languages and tools I'm comfortable working with.
Where I've been active beyond the classroom.
Participating in tech events, workshops, and peer study sessions. Helping organize small campus coding activities.
Bridged communication between classmates and professors. Helped coordinate group projects and activities.
